Now Apple will launch a brand new touch-screen iPod Nano which is about half the size of the existing edition and also almost 42 per cent lighter.
Apple’s latest device will not get the familiar touchwheel for toggling between th tracks.
The new iPod Nano was a part of the wide range of iPod models that has been unveiled by Mr. Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple, reported the Daily Mail.
Jobs has explained it as “the biggest change in the iPod lineup ever”.
The new iPod Touch is thinner, but has the similar high-definition retina display screen like the iPhone and it is also equipped with a front-facing camera.
The new iPod Nano has a volume control device, a VoiceOver, Nike+, the FM radio, and a pedometer that works in 29 different languages, according to Mr. Jobs who revealed all these features in a press conference in San Francisco, US.
The press conference had some news for the iPhone development industry too. Jobs announced that the iPhone users will soon be getting a software update which offers can upload high-definition video over WiFi connectivity.
He mentioned, “when people take photos with their iPhone, the new software saves three slightly different copies that, when combined, make for a sharper image.”
